Description

Two Lives One World is a short documentary about two girls, Victorine and Joske, one living in Goma (Democratic Republic of Congo) and the other in Zoetermeer (The Netherlands). Journalist Anneke Verbraeken interviews both girls about their daily life routines, feeling of safeness, education, and their common future dream of becoming a doctor. The narrative of both girls shows how different daily life and future perspectives are for a young girl, according to the circumstances she is born in.

Two Lives One World demonstrates that the right of education and safety is not a matter of course for everyone.
